Samantha Walsh, M.S.W. Intervention Counselor
I have lived in Utah for the past 5 years with my husband and two sons ages 6 and 2. This is my fourth year at Park City High School where I enjoy working on a daily basis with students and their families. I attended Penn State University where I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. I completed a Master In Social Work (M.S.W.) at the University of Utah and am a licensed School Social Worker in the State of Utah.
High School is an exciting time for you and your teen! Most of your teens's thoughts, feelings and behaviors are consumed with questions of identity (Who am I? What kind of person do I want to be? What are my plans for my life?) These questions as well as risk taking behaviors are a normal part of the self discovery process. Incorporating a healthy sense of self and direction for one's life is no small task. We want to help your student accomplish these development goals while promoting a rewarding, safe and healthy high school experience for your teen. I am available for consultation for any social or emotional issues to include: friendship, family relationships, school performance, substance use, dating issues, self harm, eating or body image issues, community resources or referrals and prevention strategies. Please feel free to contact me anytime at (435) 645-5657 x2026 regarding any questions or concerns that you may have about your student.
